The Africa Project is committed to helping meet the most basic needs of children living in extreme poverty especially those orphaned or made vulnerable by the AIDS pandemic in Africa. This means providing financial resources to ensure that they have a safe place to live, food, access to medical care and opportunities to go to school.

By giving what you can, you are making a real difference in the lives of the children and families served through the programs we support.

TAP Works With Local Providers

The Africa Project works with service providers in Nkandla, South Africa - those who are on the ground providing direct services - and asks "how can we help you do more of what you do better?"

Each year, board members travel to Nkandla (at their own expense) and spend time volunteering in the community. These opportunities allow us to better understand what is happening, assess community needs and determine how we can help. The relationships we have established with community leaders and other stakeholders have proven invaluable in our efforts. We continue to learn and are inspired by the work they are doing to improve the lives of their citizens.

Tiffany and Travis are getting married and In lieu of gifts, they are asking their family and friends to make a donation to The Africa Project. Read more...
