 The Africa Project is committed to helping meet the most basic needs of children living in extreme poverty especially those orphaned or made vulnerable by the AIDS pandemic in Africa. This means providing financial resources to ensure that they have a safe place to live, food, access to medical care and opportunities to go to school. By donating what you can, you will make a real difference in the lives of these precious children. Programs and Services supported by The Africa ProjectThe Africa Project works with service providers in Nkandla, South Africa - those who are on the ground providing direct services - and asks "how can we help you do more of what you do better?" Each year, members of our organization travel to Nkandla (at their own expense) and spend time working in the community. After these annual visits, our board develops a set of funding priorities for the year. Programs supported by The Africa Project:
